Paper Submission and Review Process

Submission Acknowledgement

Upon submission, authors will receive an automated acknowledgment. Within 1-3 business days, an official confirmation will be sent by the editorial team. If no confirmation is received, please check your spam folder or contact the editorial assistant.

Peer Review Process

AJSSMS employs a double-blind peer-review system, ensuring anonymity for both reviewers and authors. Submissions undergo:

Initial screening for scope and plagiarism using iThenticate.
Detailed evaluation by three experts, including two external reviewers and one editorial board member.

Editorial Decision

The final decision on acceptance or rejection is based on reviewer recommendations. In cases of conflicting reviews, the editor carefully considers all feedback, with the option of additional peer review if needed.

Post-Review Steps

Notification: The review outcome will be shared with the corresponding author and co-authors.
Publication Fee: Upon acceptance, authors will revise their manuscript and pay a $100 online publication fee. Waivers may be requested for authors lacking funding.
